We have been invited to attend boating activities with the Halifax Cruise Club. with back water navigational help from Will Benny of the Ponce Squadron. I am planning a trip to BJ s Fish camp in New Smyrna for the 21st. Get your CARDBOARD BOATS ready for May 12th. The Murder Mystery Dinner on Friday the 23rd to kick-off the D-23 Spring Conference in Ocala was a lot of fun for those whom attended. The menu choices are: Lamb, Prime rib, or stuffed flounder. Arrive at 1830 for social, 1900 dinner is served. The next Dinner Meeting is April 19th at the Clubhouse Restaurant. If you are reading this report and are not in attendance at our April Meeting my I remind you that your support of this squadron and participation in this event is needed. The meeting was a little sad in that Ocala was giving up there Charter and would be disbanding. We did not receive the big awards, but we were the recipients of some awards, which I will be presenting to our members at this months dinner meeting. The next day we got down to the business and heard a message from the Chief Commander rep. Quite a colorful cast of charters we had to find who committed the murder. That evening we joined in the murder mystery dinner cruise to find out who did it. We arrived on Friday afternoon and checked into our room.
